After many moons designing, coming up with ideas...yada yada...my concept of a simplified 4-person compact off-road camper is complete. Only took 5 years. :Wow1:
- Total weight loaded as shown:1250# (including mattresses, RTT, etc...) Production version is anticipated to be around 900#-1000#
- No Galley - although... there is a stowable galley table attaches to either side fender (not a fan of having large clawed critters near where I sleep.)
- Sleeps 4 - 6' plus sized adults comfortably
- 12v electrical with solar recharge (features the usual 12v sockets, LED lights, USB charge ports, etc)
- 35CFM ventilation fans (x2) for airflow
- Cabin is a monocoque design comprised of bonded aerospace/marine grade composite panels. Results in a very strong, lightweight structure, that takes less than 1/2 the time to assemble versus traditional materials (i.e. wood& metal)
- Awning shown is the Rhino Rack Foxwing Eco.
- Timbren Axle-less suspension (has performed fantastically well.)
FWIW - I am actively working to establish a small business to build these. If things continue moving where I think they are, it could be sooner than later. I anticipate on taking pre-orders in the coming weeks.
The concept in a nut-shell: Adventure simply. This trailer was conceived to be the center of your adventure lifestyle. A base camp if you will.
