modsdk used to be free. That really sucks that they are charging for information now! It is very hard to view only one post in 24 hours :(
I did find the RX/TX mod interesting. I am a partime firefighter and opening the radio to my departments frequency was of interest.

Sorry to dig up the old post here, I just got licensed and am busily searching any interesting ham info. FWIW, you can email Industry Canada and request your address be hidden from view. I got my new call sign today and immediately emailed <spectrum.amateur@ic.gc.ca>
and requested it. Got an email back within the hour saying that it was done.
Have to wait till tomorrow to make sure it worked, I think they only update the online database once a day.

edit - yep, it worked...
