Yeah between the ice we had almost year found in Alaska and being stationed from VA to ME I got a lot of driving experience in snow and or ice. I've learned that leaving while it's still snowing tends to be safest, people start getting out the next day and damn but it packs the snow into a solid sheet of ice, That and take it easy 4x4 is a great way to get over confident and go to fast and no 4x4 out there will really help you stop when you start sliding. I try my best to stay off the brakes and use the transmission to slow down. I don't know I enjoy driving in the rain too just my thing.
