I think I'd give up on going off road if Stuans were not invented. Coyote is the company that took over making them but the originals may be a little better. I run 6psi but if I hit a rock I have a 3" inner cushion thats at 35 psi to save the rim. With the tire at 6psi the sidewall near the rim is suported by it so it's not a loosey goosey feeling. I can run 60mph on the road at that pressure and float like a butterfly on rocky trails. IMHO they are the single best off road aftermarket product money can buy.
One thing not usually mentioned about them(which I do) is how much more quickly you can air up and down. Since the main volume is constant, the part you move is much smaller. Love mine.
