FJ80 question

Hello, I have a '92 FJ80 which is doing the common "jump" or surge when shifting from 1st to 2nd. From what I've read it's the kickdown cable that needs adjusting. The issue is that nothing I've read tells me where this thing is..... Where exactly is the kickdown cable?? Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks. I did it and wow... what a difference! The 80 isn't painfully slow anymore.. still not fast by any means but it atleast has enough power to get out of the way. Took care of that odd jump from 1st to 2nd and made it run better. Thanks again!

No problemo...my old 80 did that too!

Thanks again. After doing that adjustment I've gone from 12mpg on the hwy to 16! The city/hwy mix went from about 11 to 14.
