6’5” Flippac for sale.

I bought it a couple years ago and have used it without issue since. It’s currently installed on my 2012 Double Cab Tundra.

This thing is an absolute joy to camp in. When deployed, the tent and space available is huge. The tent windows are also very large and and make you feel like you are sleeping outside. The bed comfortable and is wider than you will find in most pickup campers. When not deployed, it just functions as a normal camper shell with all the bed space available.

The skinny:

The fabric is in good shape with no holes or patches. The rainfly is also in good shape and has no leaks. The lever arm and hood attachment pieces are present and will be included. The torsion bar and hinges work as they should. The hinge entry points are well caulked (lexel) with no water intrusion. It was freshly painted (white) 2 years ago. Both side windows open and have screens in them. All the tent windows and zippers function as they should. 3 of the tent window screens are brand new (I replaced by hand). The hammock works perfectly. The inside and exterior lights work as they should. The rear door has brand new pistons. There's an CVT awning included and attached to the back.

I do not know the history or when it was manufactured. It has some cosmetic flaws that you can see in the pictures. The front (cab side) window does not open (caulked closed). The rear window including the frame must have been replaced at some point (they probably could have done a better job welding it to the hinge…), but it works properly and does not leak. The 3 remaining screens probably be replaced at some point (I have the extra screen material). One of the tent window zippers was shortened 3 inches due to the zipper material pulling away from the zipper (Isolated, and fixed issue). I did some fiberglass repair to a crack under the cab window. Fixed.

Measures:
77” long
74” wide (62” rear door/window opening)

I fit it to my 2012 Tundra by installing a 4” 1/4 piece of flat steel to the front of the bed (effectively shortening the bed space a couple of inches). It should fit most 6.5 foot beds with a little modification.

Asking $3,750 obo
