Hi there,

I have for sale a rare 1989 Fully Re-upholstered Toyota Townace A'mCraft Poptop 4WD 2C Diesel JDM Campervan with a super low mileage of approx 40k miles on the clock, which is in outstanding condition for the year.

The vehicle is located in Oxford, England, UK so it would obviously have to be shipped to you in the States, this is not a problem as I have previously this year sold and shipped 2 Toyota Hliux Galaxy Motorhomes to the U.S. (you can probably look back through older posts on here to see the RV's in question)

A beautiful example of a rare 1989 Toyota Townace A’mcraft 4WD Campervan. With an amazing use of space, it has all your standard camping amenities, cold water, outdoor sink/shower, diesel parking heater, propane burner, electric fridge, sleeps 4, seats 5. It’s small, coming in at around 4.6 metres in overall length and will easily park in a standard car park space. Weight is approx 2300 Kg. As for fuel economy it clocks in low 20s on the Toyota 2C naturally aspirated diesel engine. You wont be breaking any speed records, but it will happily cruise at 65mph on the highway. It’s optioned with push button 4WD with the standard Toyota truck setup Aisin 4×4 manual locking hubs, and hi-lo transfer case.... this thing will give a VW Syncro a run for it's money! The camper is running stock 14" Toyota wheels but could easily be upgraded to 15". This vehicle was regularly used and maintained throughout it’s life....previously owned by a mechanic with 40 years experience who did all the servicing/maintenance/upgrades himself. Whilst in his care he gave the camper a 2 inch suspension lift, upgraded the sink and 2 burner hob to Dometic stainless steel versions. He also upgraded the diesel night heater and stereo plus the camper has benefitted from complete reupholstery of all seating, curtains, carpet etc...finished in a funky retro 70's style fabric! The vehicle was exported from Japan (where it was produced) to the UK on 31/12/2012 (I have the export certificate to back this up) and spent the next 7-8 yrs in the ownership of the mechanic mentioned above, up until recently when I was lucky enough to purchase it from him. I had originally planned to keep this camper for myself, but not long ago purchased another Toyota AmCraft (Love them!) and chose to keep that one instead. The only known minor cosmetic imperfections (it is 30 years old after all) are some slight surface rust on the passenger side pillar (see pic 4) and also a couple of stone chips to the paintwork on the front bumper (see pic 4) both of which are an easy fix should you wish to. All in all, a great alternative to a VW Syncro, just as capable off road, more reliable long term, a much better internal layout and all without the hefty price tag too!
