FOR SALE: 1997 Toyota Tacoma
Location: Pearland (Houston Area), Texas
Price: $6,000 OBO
Description:
AWESOME little single cab Tacoma, 4WD with manual transmission, 2.7L 4 Cylinder engine with about 282K miles on her. Alloy wheels and 33 inch off road tires. Clean title, I've been the owner for 15 years and have personally put on 148k of those miles. Mostly used for commuting, has a little off-road time. Engine and transmission are in great shape. Needs some body work if you want it to be pretty.
Known Problems:
It's been sitting for a little while (a few months with minimal usage), so the 4WD needs to be serviced. Check engine light is on and popping codes for engine coolant temp sensor (I'm fixing that one), O2 sensors and catalytic converter (although it always does that when it's been sitting for more than a week or two). A/C needs to be recharged and full disclosure, the heating/cooling control panel had to be rigged for the switches to work. It's not pretty, but it works. Also, the rear bumper is bent and rusted and should be replaced before towing. Needs inspection and registration. Selling AS IS.
