Any answered questions will be added here.
Our family has grown-up, two daughters in college, one of them marrying soon and thus our camping needs have changed. So with that, is a change in camping gear for fewer of us. We are selling our beloved 2019 Crux 2700, also known as “Gladys”. She has served us well, serving as a base camp in Yellowstone, Arizona’s Gila River camping areas, Southern Arizona, Northern Arizona, and Utah.
For those of you who have not heard of Crux, well Black Series Dominator is similar if not the same I believe. Note: Edited to say Dominator. Patron is larger)
Typically we set up the annex, and used that with cots, as well as the secondary lower bed within the trailer to have as many as six of us at one time. Of course my wife and I got the queen bed.
With the two 20lb propane tanks, we used the second tank for a buddy heater to warm the entire annex and trailer area. Made Yellowstone a warm paradise at night.
Please note the following:
Poly Block was replaced with a Cruisemaster D035. This hitch is an absolute dream.
Jack/ Jockey wheel was replaced with a Fulton 1600, a big upgrade. I did not install the hand brake, but it does come with the camper.
Wheel bearings were replaced with high quality bearings
Replaced electrical connections (i.e. nuts/bolts) with stainless steel components
Includes Gasland Instant Hot Water Heater Attaches in front next to shower room and water connection/valve
Includes two 20lb Propane Tanks (You'll never run out of propane!) We often used the second tank for a buddy
Pictures do not show the shower room, attached in the front of the large annex. (Was sure useful in Yellowstone!)
Pictures do not show the complete roof rack. We used the main rack to transport two kayaks.
Pictures do not show the included table, which allows for a second bedding area.
Kayak racks not included.
