Location: Eureka, CA
Asking Price: $9,000
2018 AT Habitat for a third generation Tacoma offered for sale (check out their website for more information). When it comes to overlanding with a Tacoma there is no better option for the Tacoma that the AT Habitat; it weighs only 300 pounds this camper acts as a traditional camper shell when not deployed with the added benefit of all aluminum construction and no windows to keep the bed area secure. Withintwo minutes of parking your Tacoma this tent can be deployed to create a 14 foot tent area suitable for 4 full grown adults. As an added bonus the lid area cantilevers behind the truck to create an area protected from sun & rain.
I used this setup dozens of times without issue. Never once did I experience a leak in the tent or from the camper itself, setup and breakdown was always a breeze. I am replacing my Tacoma and since my Habitat is specific to the third generation Tacoma I no longer have no need for it. With new Habitats base price set at $12,000 and my Habitat having having the optional access hatches on each side (~$1,600 option) I believe my asking price is fair. Habitats currently have a +12 month lead time too so this is an option to forego the wait at a reduced price than new.
