I am interested in trading or selling my 1988 Toyota Pickup Standard Cab 4WD w/matching camper shell. This truck is in excellent condition for its’ age. I purchased the vehicle in March of 2010 and have enjoyed it immensely since then using it as a daily driver to and from work and I have taken it on a couple of camping trips. I am selling/trading the vehicle because I could use a vehicle that can fit two adults plus a car seat comfortably (and occassionally a 90 lb. black lab). Ideally I would like to trade for a stock or mildly built Double Cab Tacoma or 3rd Gen 4Runner. Besides a trade I will take $6,800 O.B.O. I do have the title in hand. The truck is located in Anderson, Indiana.
Here are the specs on the truck:
4 cyl. - 22re
Manual Transmission
118,000 original miles
Air Conditioning
Aisin Hubs
New bed that was sealed, painted and seams caulked under bed & rust proofed 4 years ago - per previous owner
New brake lines along passenger frame rail (previous owner didn’t get to installing them before I bought it)
New Duralast Gold Battery - March 2010
It does have aftermarket shocks and wheels
Tires are at about 30%
Innovation Industries camper shell painted to match (gives it a 1st gen 4runner look)

A few things that I may or may not get to before the truck is gone:
Parking brake is not working (I believe it needs a new cable to the rear where it “Y’s”)
Driver’s side vent window needs a new lock
Wiring behind radio could use some attention
As far as I know this truck has never seen a midwest winter. I am the third owner. The owner before me had it since 1996 and flat towed it behind his motor home to texas for the winters. This is definitely evident from the condition that it is in. The interior is decent, but could use some work. It does have a radio and a booster & tape player The previous owner told me the timing chain had been replaced although I have no documentation of this. If you are interested please PM or e-mail me at trent.pell<at>gmail.com.
