For sale/ Toyota auto marketing group

I have been trying to sell my 07 toyota. It is advertised on here. I just got a call from a company called Auto Marketing group, who say they have a buyer for the truck. Sounds too good to be true. Ahh! the catch I have to pay a 500 refundable deposit to them which I get back when the truck clears. which is supposed to be monday or tuesday. Question is tis service for real or is it scam? I am pretty desperate right now and need to sell fast. so any thoughts or experience with this ?

I get a call from them everytime I post my bike on Craigslist. I assume it is a scam, since i get an automated recording.

If you find out differently, let me know, and ill actually answer the phone next time they call!

It's a scam, offered to sell my "1986 vehicle" for me to a waiting buyer for 500$.....

I was selling a 1986 Johnson outboard.....for 400$

I got one of those calls when I sold my 2007 Tacoma. I dismissed it as a scam.

I don't know how desperate you are, but when I got desperate I went to Carmax and they bought my car (2005 Outback) that day. Not a scam.
