These Bedford 6 Cylinder ( 5.4 Litre = 330 cubic inch ) Turbo-Deisel Engines provide a very smooth power curve.
They can be relied upon for at least 300 000 miles, or more, with proper servicing.
The ( D.I.Y. ) Servicing of these ( No E.C.U. ) Vehicles is Much, Much, Cheaper than modern trucks.
Spare Parts are still available Worldwide.
The Bedford is in such good condition that it is unlikely to require more than seals, filters & oil-changes for many years to come.
There are several UK suppliers who are willing to ship parts abroad.
It has an excellent gearbox; with a choice of 2 or 4 wheel drive, and high or low ratios.
It does not have power steering.
It Cruises at a steady 50+ mph, and returns 13 mpg.
Very Suitable for either Expedition work, Wild Camping, Festivals or Gymkhanas.

The 10 Stud x 20'' Diameter Wheel-Rims & High Profile 12R x 20" All Terrain Radial Tyres provide high ground clearance
which makes off road work easy.
The Current Kerb Weight is 6410kg. - Certified by West Yorkshire Trading Standards.
By co-ordinating with DVLA & SV TECH. Ltd & VOSA it could easily be Re-Plated as a 7500kg GVW vehicle, which would make it
Legal to drive it on an Ordinary ( Pre-1997 ) Car Licence.
If you have an HGV Licence, it would Tow a 5000kg Trailer.
The fact that it is now in it's 27th Year means that Very Cheap Classic Vehicle Insurance should be easy to find.
The Solid Painted Chassis has only a very light dusting of surface rust, in places.
The Bodywork is excellent, though the paintwork needs a little attention.
The inside of the cab looks like new.
There is a roof hatch in the cab which gives access to a very sturdy roof - rack.
