4x4 build details:
This is a Timberline 4x4 coil spring conversion van built in Golden, Colorado. The setup is a coil spring solid axle front end, and there’s little that wasn't touched in the conversion.
This van was gone through in detail and rebuilt at 201,000 miles. The main rebuilt components: transmission is 4R100 rebuilt with updated internals, all new seals, new OEM electronics, and wear components, low stall Branting torque converter. The front differential is rebuilt, new ring, pinion, bearings, seals, new Moog ball joints. The rear diff has been rebuilt as well, True-trac Dana 70 locker, new clutch packs, ring, pinion, spider gears, new bearings, and seals. The t-case has been rebuilt, NV271. It also has a new catalytic converter (this is common on vans with this mileage range, so nice to know it's done). The van runs great and for a 5.4 it has decent power. The van isn't light but it's not super super heavy either, it's tall, but with the front end setup it feel surprisingly nimble around the corners, doesn't feel like it's going to tip over.
The Timberline conversion includes but is not limited to: all new tie-rods, new moog premium ball joints, new front brake calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, new abs sensors keep factory abs intact, new shocks front and rear, custom drive-shafts, new 4-link front end with all new hardware and bushings, LED 4x4 indicator light, has manual locking hubs, axle is from 2006 F-350 with around 100k miles, new fluids in front/rear diffs, t-case and trans, has Dana 70 full floating rear diff, many other new parts.
