I am preparing to convert my 2009 Ford E350 12 passenger van to 4WD. I am looking at the MG kit offered at expovans.com. I like the fact that the setup uses a lot of OEM parts. One question I have is that the control arm brackets look like they are going to interfere with the cross member that supports the transmission (I have the 5.4 liter V8 with 4R75 transmission). I saw another post on this forum from a few years back that said that he created a modified bracket to solve that problem, but I didn't see any details. Was it the cross member that gets modified, or the control arm mounting bracket? If any of you have pictures of this setup, I would be much appreciative if you would share them. Thank you.
