I was at the car wash this afternoon getting the bugs washed off the family van when a shiny new Molten Orange 2010 Ford Raptor rolled out of the tunnel, dripping wet from its wash.
All the attendants ran over to take a look. Cell phones were produced, and everybody got their pictures taken next to the Raptor. The orange paint with black accents and graphics looked great!
This Raptor is in Las Vegas to be sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction this weekend. Ford will donate the proceeds of the auction to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It's lot #1347, if you want to phone in a bid.
MSRP for the Raptor starts at $40K. The first few months of production are already sold out.
