I just swapped out the original Bridgestone Dueler HTs for Dueler Revo 2s.
The OEM size on our TRD Sport was 265 65 r17.
The upgraded size is 245 75 r17.
(for those running r16 rims? the 235 85 r16 would be similar overall size)
The difference is noticeable (the 245s fill the well nicely). And the ride is fantastic.
The original HTs SUCKED in the wet stuff on the Oregon Coast.
These new Revo 2s are a dream!

There is no rub or clearance issues that i've seen even though the 245s are 31.6" verses the original 30.5" . . . as the 245s are an inch narrower. The Revo 2s slice through the water patches like a steak knife verses the old 'butter knife' feel we had on the wider HTs.

And as a bonus; according to our GPS, our speedo is perfectly matched to these new tires.

Highly recomended.

Happy Trails,
Thom

Nice; I run 255/75-17 on mine without rubbing issues. They measure 32.1". There seem like quite a few more tires available in the 245/75-17 size though. Also, an equivalent 16" would be a 245/80-16 if made. A 235/85-16 measures 31.7-32" and a 245/85 would be even taller.

16 inch rim

I think the tire for a 16" rim would be a 235/85R16 - I don't think they make a 245/85R16.

Interested in this thread since I will be purchasing new tires for my TRD Sport - Currently I have the 17" rims on it, but I purchased a set of 16" TRD Off Road rims. Looking at 245/75R16.

245/85R16 = unobtanium, wishful thinking, that would be a great size.
