UPDATE - we have a rebuilt one on the way.

Anyone know of a rebuilt Borg Warner transfer box for sale? They seem to be in short supply. A lot of places have them listed but when you call them, they don't actually have it available. FTC1564E.

You might look at putting in an lt230. Waaaaay better than the BW. Viscous couplings and drive chains are not as strong as the locking center diff and being 100% gear driven. Just one guys unsolicited advice. ?

We thought long and hard about an LT230, but then we have to swap brackets, change the linkage, and modify the center console. We really need to get this back the toad ASAP. Also, the BW seems to work better in the snow and ice that is found the Arizona high country. Most importantly, it is my wife's daily driver and she prefers the BW. When she wants the more hands on experience she drives our SIIA 109

If we were made of money we would probably do the LT230 with Ashcroft's automatic torque biasing center diff.
