Found this on Craigslist. Was gonna drive up and probably buy it this weekend but it is 60 inches wide at the tailgate and I need 58. I spoke to the guy on the phone and he said it is the 6 foot bed version (says long bed in the ad).

I called also, waiting on a call back as I spoke to his friend, rather than him. It should fit my truck other than needing a platform to clear the cab. :)
*update*

Picking it up next Friday no mods needed to fit my truck

Excellent. I was very dissapointed not to be able to get this myself but I knew someone on here would snag it up.

What kind of truck are you putting it on?

Hope the camper works out for you. Did you see this quote on the 4 wheel camper website? "Ford F-250 / F-350 Trucks built from 1999-2011 require a special build on the camper. The cab height is 3” taller than any other truck on the market." Sounds like you may have to build a small platform for it to sit on.

To add a signature:
1. Click on "Settings" in the upper right hand corner
2. Scroll half way down until you see "Edit Signature" on the left.

Yes I know about the platform :) and I already spoke with Terry from 4wheel campers about exact locations for the tie down points. Ive been looking and researching these for a while so I have a pretty good Idea of what to expect (I think) and how everything works. Long time Lurker on this site, finally joined mostly to say thank you, as it was because of your post that I found it.

 Missed the part in your first post where you stated that you were aware of the required platform. :sombrero: Glad I was able to help out! Be sure to return the favor if you see a newer Hawk model on the cheap in Colorado! Also, be sure to post pics of your road trip!

Right now Im finding out on the Wander the West Forum that the camper is sitting on the bed rails of that F150.. so there might be more damage than being told. :/ I always take pics- but they usually involve my kids as well.. and there isn't much to see between Colorado Springs and Wichita.. Up near Ft Collins is the only place in CO that I've seen any 4wheel campers for sale on CL.. but they were Keystone and Grandby models... There is a running list of campers people have found in the Wander forum- in Gear exchange and under the 4wheel camper- used four wheel camper alert thread.

** Update***
Bought the camper, its defiantly a project camper, physically sound, lots of cosmetic work needed. Will post pics when I get back to CO next week :)
