I have an Edgestar 43qt available for free for anyone in the Bay Area who wants it. It is currently located in San Ramon.
The fridge is ~3 yrs old and was replaced under the extended warranty I purchased with it. It developed a rattle while off roading, but was still functioned normally. Rather than trying to fix it the extended warranty company just sent me a new one (stoked for that). As a part of the extended warranty I had to send it the old 12v cord so I do not have that (110v disappeared long ago).
I did try to plug it into 110v (using the cord for my new fridge) to check it was functioning a few months ago and I heard a "POP" and it didn't fire up. Now when I plug it into 110v the LED very very briefly lights up, but the fridge isn't functioning. I honestly haven't tried in on 12v since my replacement fridge is already happily living in my drawer system and that truck is elsewhere, but I would assume it would be the same situation there. Because of this I am going to say the fridge is not in working order. It may be a quick fix for the right person, or could be beyond repair- for that reason I am listing it "for parts".
Just for clarification, the fridge is available as-is and will not be coming with the 12v nor 110v cords. Due to the size and difficulty in shipping something of this size it will only be available for local pickup. My asking price is a firm $0.
