freezer-to-microwave food storage

Due to all the suspected health effects and semi-disposable nature of Tupperware-type food storage containers, my wife and I started replacing ours with the Rubbermaid Lexan containers.

Now there's this thing about Lexan breaking down over time. and suspected health risks...

What's left? Glass? I hate to have to go that route.

Is there something else I'm not thinking of, or aware of?

what about the air you breath? water you drink? chemicals you wilingly put on and in your body, maybe we should just stop eating all together cause it seem everything causes cancer.

i know i'm being silly, but all the studies that come out all the time that say we are going to get cancer from something we eat, drink or wear are really the extremes. maybe lab rats showed signs of cancer after being fed theyre body weight every day for a year ya know?? i think the best way to make sure your somewhat safe and healthy is just do it all in some sort of moderation. i heat up food in plastic a couple times a week, not every meal so i'm not worried. besides, most of the concerns with food plastic is in the heating of said plastic, if your really concerned heat it up on the plate your gonna eat it with, unless you eat meals out of packaging and tupperware.
