Front Runner Rack for 2nd Gen Tundra?

Hello all, I was curious to know if anyone out there has a front runner slimline rack on the cab or their tundra? I really like the style and would love to do a matching rack on the bed canopy and cab. Has anyone found if another vehicles specs will work for it or if you can modify a canopy rack to fit? I was also curious to know if anyone has found decently priced rock sliders for the tundra. I would love to get my hands on a set. Thanks in advance!

Here is my truck in its winter and summer configurations

Not the best pic but I run a slimline on my canopy. It's about 6ft long. I have not found the need to run one on the cab so I am not sure what will fit. I am also running some Slider Steps by CBI Offroad. I added a few options to the sliders so they are not the cheapest on the market but worth every penny. I like the step feature plus a bed access step pad which helps access slimline rack and into canopy. CBI quality and strength.

The biggest problem with the Tundras is that there are no factory mounting points so any frontrunner type rack will require drilling or modification to the roof in order to have a rack on the cab. I am hoping to eventually have a model for the tundra that is similar to the racks I have for Tacomas but a lot of people don't want to drill holes in the roof of such a new truck.

Great looking setup racerjb. Im defiantly going to have to look into CBI steps. Is that slimline on the cab the tall version or the regular version. I have seen both options on line but not exactly sure how much of a difference it makes. Also, did you relocate your antenna? I have been looking to figure something out since I broke off the stock a few months back.

zscott I think I emailed you a few months back about wether you were planning to do a tundra system. I understand 99% of people are hesitant about drilling holes in the roof but I don't see a problem with it as long as it is the perfect fit.

It is still on the menu, time just hasn't been my friend. I will be sure to let people know though when it comes time. I am building my dad a bed rack for his tundra now but doubt I will convince him to drill holes in his roof.
