Front suspension in action ('99)

Have been experiencing a small sort of wobbling feeling from the steering wheel, so I thought I'd stick a camera on the front bumper to watch the suspension as I drove around.

This is just a quick drive around the block and to the bank that I did to test out how well the suction cup worked, as well as the angle. I think it's just pretty cool to see the suspension do its thing.

I stuck the camera to the plastic bumper just inside the fog light, clearly when I hit big bumps, the plastic flexes.

I think when I did the diff housing swap going for 4.27 to 4.63 I must not have clipped it back down properly.


Also, this is on the soft suspension mode, I'm sure there would be a lot less travel in the suspension in 'H'... but I kind of like the Cadillac feel around town

nice video. i see that your top bumpstop touches the arm a lot with little down travel... i have same problem... dont like the feel of that. i'll do i balljoint flip soon

I can't say that I've noticed. One thing that might help would be to install a stiffer suspension, that should keep the bump stop from hitting except in only the most extreme compressions.

I have the adjustable shocks set to the softest mode here.
