Sadly, the Unimog has to go. Work has made it impossible for me to take her out to the desert anymore (moved too far west, aka Santa Monica)

She's a 1967 Mercedes-Benz Unimog (Radio Truck) in camo green/brown. Imported from Germany in 2006. Custom rear interior (storage + bench seat that expands into a bed). Onboard air compressor. Two NATO Gas cans. 4wd with locking differentials, 6 speed manual (six forward and two in reverse). Manuals and extra keys. Great rig for camping, expedition travel, and off-roading.

In good shape for a 60 year old truck but like any rig her age, she needs some tender love and care.

Clean tile, current tags.

Asking $15,000 OBO. Open to trades as well!

Hoping she can find a new home with someone from Expedition Portal!

bump for a cool rig. I'm SO glad I just put money towards my truck loan instead of seeing this first!

The 404 mogs are all gas - a few people have put diesel engines in them but its a lot of work and usually reduces the already limited passenger foot room.

The cylinder head can be swapped to higher compression one from a MB car engine and a dual carb manifold installed for more power. Some have been fuel injected with good results - or propane, although that doesn't usually give more power - just better running and possibly cheaper.
