This one has been my baby. As a barn find, I have sort of restored it and used it well. She looks like it too! I've taken this ol' girl on several long trips, too long the sort for this type of bike. She has taken me from Louisiana to eastern Kentucky and back. She's felt the fear of me clinching the gas tank with my knees as I crossed the border into Mexico for the very first time. She has driven through a tropical storm for hours on end. Really, she's the bike that I have all the memories with... why the hell do I want to sell her??

Well, my riding interests have changed and I am changing my herd. I am getting a street bike for commuting and a different dual sport for my adventures---read KTM 640 Adventure:drool:. Just big enough for my wife to ride with me if necessary, yet sprung well enough with enough power to support my maniacal riding tendencies!
I dont have a picture of the XRL's current state, but here is a description. The bike has been for sale for a while now. There was no interest in it so I sold all of the parts. Bam, all the junk was gone in a week. So what I am left with is a mostly stock bike. The after market goodies are:
Renthal handlebars and grips, heated grips, DRZ400 mirrors, TUSK handguards, TUSK bar risers.
PIAA headlight with HID conversion kit (kind of a home brew, but ********** bright!)
All of the bolt on aftermarket stuff that you seen in the picture (with exception of items listed above) have been removed and sold! AGAIN PICTURE ABOVE IS NOT CURRENT!
HAS BRAND NEW REAR TIRE. Front tire is good.
Less than 11,500 miles on bike.
