2006 Rally Course Champion: Expedition Trophy
I don't want to do this, but life is about to take some big twists in the next few months and I need to focus attention, and money, elsewhere. I'd like to simplify - and give somebody a chance to get a turn-key expedition vehicle at what I believe is a fair price. $15,000.
2001 Toyota 4Runner
93,000 or so miles, automatic.
2-inch Tundra/OME suspension (OEM Tundra coils/struts front, OME rear springs/shocks)
TJM front bumper with Warn M8000 winch, synthetic line and Tmaxx wireless controller. IPF 968 lights w/ Toyota factory fog switch.
Stubbs sliders installed.
Yaesu 1802 2m radio installed in bottom DIN slot, JVC Arsenal, iPod controlling/recharging head unit in top slot.
Garmin Quest GPS hard mounted with external antenna - pop it out and you have a handheld ready to go.
Waeco CF50 fridge
Optima Yellow Top with Blue Sea fuse block for all accessories
255/85/16 BFG MT tires, two 6 months old, 3 with about 20K life left (estimated) on black rock crawler steel rims.
One set 265/70/16 street tires on factory allows.
Custom-made wooden storage drawers in rear, black herculined.
Car-Top-Tent roof tent with shelter.
The vehicle condition is overall very good. It does have an assortment of pinstripes etc ... from use, but most will buff out which I will be working on this weekend.
It is due for a timing belt since I just hit 90K and one cornering lamp is currently broken (tree limb) (Plan to replace, but I'm stating current conditions). On minor ding in bottom of drivers side rear bumper, one minor ding from above mentioned tree limb.
Glass is all good, windows tinted and it is ready to go anywhere. The 2001 model has an early version of ATRAC, which in most any situation I've been in is very good - once you learn to keep a slight, steady throttle and don't touch the brakes.
I have access to CARFAX and will run the VIN to have that on file and am currently not driving it much, so mileage will remain close to what it is now.
