Decided to list our Ole' Red 85 FJ60, has 162k orig miles on straight 6 cyl with 4speed tranny.
Pretty much stock condition with some rusted out areas over rear wheel wells & rocker panels.
Had orig clutch,pres plate & throw bearing repl'd last yr & swapped out 33's back over to stock 245/15" tread.
Also, had frame work done by local cert'd welder to beef up flimsy (formerly box) channel with 3/16" plate steel & primed/painted.
Interior in very solid shape with no upholstery tears, carpet stains, or any cracked dash surfaces.
Heater functions great but a/c could use a Freon recharge.
Starts & runs great with no oil smoke signals present.
This was a 1 owner rig for it's first 30+ yrs , 2nd owner had for 9months till his baby showed up & then I purchased a few yrs ago.
Hate to sell her but need more room for m/c's & camper in my pole barn...
Would make a great off-road ExPo rig for someone with the time & mechanical ability to upgrade suspension & do bodywork/paint job.
Located near Adirondack Mnts. park region of upstate N.Y. off Rt 12
This classic FJ-60 is reasonably priced at $5,500.
