FS CB radios (Uniden pro 505 XL, Midland CB-1)

I've got a couple CBs for sale. **EDIT SOLD**

Uniden pro 505xl $35 shipped CONUS
Midland CB-1 $45 shipped CONUS
$70 shipped for BOTH

Each has a 12V socket added.
Each are in original box with all paperwork and mounting hardware

Each is slightly used and fully functional.
They're each great radios but ultimately too large for my cabin. The Midland ALMOST fit in the ash tray slot (with minor mods) of my 95 legacy...but not quite.

I've had the Uniden 10 months and the Midland like 1-2 months
I ran each off the lighter socket and mag mount antennae, then just wedged the unit b/t the center console and pass seat.

Ultimately I'd just rather have a smaller unit

FWIW a Uniden 520 will fit in the ashtray slot with a little trimming.

A friend has a CB in his Fj80 ash tray, and that's what I was going for with the midland CB-1 (4-3/8” (W) x 4-3/4” (D) x 1-7/8” (H))
But in my legacy with some console trimming and the ash tray frame removed, it didn't quite fit

So a 520 will fit (in your Foz?)? Product dimensions are given as 12x6x4. (umm, puzzled)

edit: Same dimensions as a 520, guess the Foz has a bigger ashtray than your gen Leggy. Weird.

Yeah the dimensions I found must've been for the shipped box NOT the actual CB.
Yeah the 510 and 520 are the same size and the midland CB-1 is a scosh deeper and a scosh narrower but a scosh taller.
I probably could've gotten the Midland in, but there's some computer (ecu-like) under the ash tray in my leggo, and while trimming the console front and removing the ash tray slot there's just a bit more to trim, but it would've had to come off the lower framing (behind the console), and I didn't want to go that far with the mod. Also it woul've stuck out a bit more than yours and my friend's in his FJ.

But yeah, what you've got is what I was going for, although half-arsed by not getting the right CB on the first go. So it goes.
