I've got a fairly complete and solid G-518 G518 Ben Hur trailer that I'd be willing to trade straight up for a smaller M100, M416 or Canadian M101. I am not interested in the bigger M101, 105, etc.
This Ben Hur does not have an ID plate. The tail gate is still all there but the foot straps were cut off. There are no lights of any kind, no wiring, no brackets. Trailer now has registration & plates. The lunette is missing the entire landing wheel set up and was flipped to allow it to be towed by a lower pintle height. The fenders were re-mounted at some point to a higher position so one set of stake holders is missing (the ones above the fenders). One fender was bent badly and has had the major bends pounded out (rubber mallet on bags of sand method). Everything else seems original including the tires and wheels. Tires are cracked, etc but are holding up so far.
I am not going to restore this but rather had planned to just clean it up and use it but if someone sees this as something to restore then please contact me ASAP - I need a functional trailer quickly.
Ideally someone relatively local is interested in a trade for one of the above trailers. I am not interested in basic landscaping type trailers, etc. More pics upon request. Email: robsonresearch@gmail.com
