Automotive ADHD is fun!
Copied and pasted from the Craigslist for your perusal... Looking for $6k obo.
I am about ready to move on, so I offer up for trade my 1996 BMW Z3 1.8 convertible. Though it has almost 150k miles on it, the engine was professionally rebuilt less than 20k miles ago, with the clutch replaced at the same time. The tires are Yokohama S-Drive (z rated). The brakes are EBC Greenstuff. I am a member of NASA and the BMWCCA and am fanatical about my vehicles. This car does not eat or drip anything from anywhere. Speaking of leaks, the top is weather tight and the window is still flexible. The exhaust has been replaced with a custom built system from the cat back, deleting the stupid kink BMW put in the stock one.
Though most wouldn't believe it, this is a surprisingly practical commute vehicle. I regularly see 28mpg, even with a relatively heavy foot. It is comfortable, has a great heater and a/c (just recharged and tested - no leaks) and is tiny so it's easy to park. Insurance is dirt cheap, and the 5-speed is just a joy to shift. And of course nothing beats the feel of putting the top down in spring. There are a couple of door dings, and the hood was repainted at some point, but the car is otherwise clean and very presentable.
There are several of these floating around Craigs with lower miles, but they have not received the recent engine work that this one has. If nobody bites on it, I will probably just buy the Downing/Atlanta supercharger (smog legal!) and bump it up to 210hp.
Okay, here's the deal. Unless someone wants to offer me somewhere close to full asking price, I am really only looking for a trade here. I don't need to sell, I love this car, but I tend to get bored and move on after a year or three. I will trade for the following. Some of these trades may involve you giving me money. Some may involve me giving you money. If you have something similar, feel free to give me a try, but I promise you a Civic or Integra is NOT similar. I believe FWD is an abomination. Shoot me an email and we'll talk.
