Making the jump to the darkside, getting a Canon 5d MKII so selling my entire Nikon set up. All equipment included in list below will be for sale. Everything is in 8 or 9 out of 10 condition. I'm pretty anal about keeping all my equipment in tip top shape. Would like to sell as a whole set up as a set. I can ship on owners dime.

Total current retail for all the items is just under $2000. I'm asking $1400 obo for the entire set up. Basically enough to cover a Canon 24-70mm L lens for the MKII.

List of items:
1) Nikon D70s (DLSR) with dual battery Optek BGD grip– about 2500 actions, only real scratches are on the LCD cover. Have original box and all documentation (I don't think I ever turned in the Warrenty card)

2) Nikon N80 (35mmSLR) with Nikon with dual battery MB-16 grip – less then a 1000 actions, body is in great shap, only real issue is
the rubber is getting a little sticky with age. Only have user manual.

3) SB-80DX Speed light

4) Nikon AF-S Nikkor VR 24-120mm 1:3.5-5.6 G, ED with Tamron Polarizer

5) Nikon AF Nikkor 28-70mm 1:3.5-4.5 D with Hoya Skylight Filter

6) Tamron AF Aspherical LD 28-200mm 1:3.8-5.8 IF with Hoya Skylight Filter

7) Tamron AF Tele-Macro 100-300mm 1:5.6-6.3 with Rolev Sky Filter

Feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks

Ian

Man. Have you not shot/handled a d700? I went from d70, d200, d700. My dx glass went to my wifes d40x, ans i had also been buying "full frame glass" (35-70 2.8, 50mm 1.8, 20mm 2.8) so that helped my decision. If you've got a line on a 5d, its a fine cam. But to jump wholesale? God luck either way.

We've decided on the 5d because we can get alot of help using it. A good friend uses one and my Kid sister is the senior photo editor at Berkley and swears buy it. Its more of a support issue, if that makes sense. (Also I get my sisters lens when she HAS to have the newets and greatest... :) )

that does make total sense. having 2 hotlines for tips/tricks and buying her 'old' glass is a good hookup. have fun!

I'm watching with keen interest, but it's still a bit out of what I can afford (Sadly).
Looks like a pretty nice rig

Interested in the 28 - 200 lens. I have a D40. I believe they are interchangeable. Willing to sell it solo?

Sorry guys not going to separate anything. It'll be more of a pain to sell everything piece meal....If it doesn't go as a unit I'm just going to keep it..Again sorry to offend.
