I'm selling a Nite Rider Pro 1400 mountain bike headlight system. This system was used once at the 24 Hours of Old Pueblo in Tuscson in February. It was new in January. I have all the original packaging, so this will arrive looking as new as possible.

My personal review: This light is amazing. It produces 1400 lumens as advertised. The customizable features are unique to this series of lamps. I'm selling this because I just don't ride at night often enough to warrant a $600 light system.

FIRM PRICE: $340* (I'll cover shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 US - US only)

* I purchased this light in January at a Quality Bike Parts wholesale of $397.

Niterider Pro 1400 LEDMSRP: $649.99
The Nightrider Pro 1400 light :. The Aluminum and composite housing holds two bulbs to light your way, one a spot, and one a flood. Customize your Pro 1400 with Niterider's D.I.Y. online software (Windows 2000 compatible). Adjust power output and runtimes to optimize the light for your needs. For instance, create a low power setting for climbing, and then full-power for descending... Two settings, one push of the button, and go. It's possible to create four different custom programs so you can have your racing, group ride, shuttle, and freedom ride lighting needs all met.

Nightrider's Pro battery system allows racers to swap out batteries quickly without unwinding or unstrapping cumbersome tethers. Just squeeze the tabs and pull the battery off it's tray, which remains attached to the bike, and snap a new one in place.

I should point out - just to be clear, there is a new Pro series of lamps from Niterider. The flagship now produces 3000 lumens. I tried it. There is such a thing as almost too much. :) Those systems will be firmly priced in the $500-650 range, so this light of mine seems priced right.

Cheers,

Christophe
