SOLD - The Oasis II RTT by Trek is a compact lightweight RTT alternative. Check out specs and features here. It can be mounted for access on the side or from the rear of the vehicle. It includes the aluminum ladder pictured, a waterproof travel cover and a sunshade/rainfly. The frame is scuffed a bit from multiple mountings and the tent has a very small hole near the base where it's worn against the frame while in transit. Have a variety of mounting hardware.

SOLD - The Eezi-Awn is 1.8mx1.8m (almost 6'x6'), sets up and stows easily. Specs and features here. Mounting holes have been drilled into the bottom of the aluminum case. I've used Thule mounting hardware to mount.

We've decided to go with a ground tent alternative. Pick-up in St. George, Utah. PM for more details and pics.

If you're on your way back from Moab to SoCal, St. George is along the way. Both items still available.

I'm still interested in the awning however won't be passing through St. George to Moab until the first week in May. I'll reach out to you to see if you still have as we get closer and I'll give you a half-hearted "good luck with it" until then :)

If it's still here it's all yours. StG has been inundated with off-road types over the weekend so I thought I'd put post #5 out there.

I picked up a used Oasis II a year ago and I love it. I have only used it for solo camping, but it is great to get away from the creepy crawlys, and light enough that I can lift it up and remove it by myself. I added a self inflating pad from Costco underneath to help with the cold, which works great. And I can leave my sleeping bag, pillow, and an extra blanket up there all the time or even when in storage. Love the light weight, too. I did have some custom hooks made from aircraft grade billet aluminum to beef it up, which was really needed. Any good machine shop can make for you and either rivit on or use some screws. Good price for such a versatile tent.

We use a pair of Thermarests to insulate as well. Adds to its coziness. Curious what you mean by "hooks." Would you please explain this further?
