Sadly, I must sell my toy for something a bit more practical. I bought this Excursion the day it arrived at a local truck dealer in July of 2009. I've added Goodyear Wrangler MTRs and Rancho shocks to it, but it's otherwise stock. I looked for quite some time before purchasing it. However, we own a horse farm and more and more keep needing a second truck. So, I'm looking to get what I paid for it or trade for another truck of roughly the same value / specs. This one has the 7.3L turbodiesel with 185k on it.
I'm looking for somewhere around $16k or a similarly equipped F250 or F350 4x4 diesel. SRW or DRW (Single Rear Wheel or Dual Rear Wheel) doesn't matter. A gooseneck hitch already installed isn't necessary though it would be nice. I prefer the 7.3 over the 6.0. Must be a crew cab. I'll consider comparable Dodges with the Cummins diesel or possibly other trucks that can act as a backup vehicle to haul our 38 ft horse trailer (14k - 15k lbs loaded) if the current dually is in the shop.
