Location and arrangements:
SE Michigan, near Howell.
Willing to help with delivery, shipping, or fly-and-drive.
Vehicle
2011 Nissan Xterra Pro4X - To my knowledge this has all factory options.
99k miles
4.0L V6, 261hp, 281tq, 5k towing
Pro4X adds:
Dana 44 rear axle w/ e-locker
Underbody skid plates
Roof lights
Leather seats
Rockford Fosgate stereo w/ subwoofer and Sirus radio
Larger tires/upgraded suspension (both upgraded by me)
My additions:
ARB Bull Bumper - The only aftermarket bumper tested for airbag compatibility
Old Man Emu Heavy Duty suspension. Resulted in about a 2.5" lift after settling and MUCH improved payload capacity.
Cooper ST Maxx tires 265/75/16 (Approx 32.5"). About 75% tread left
IPF amber fog lamps
Kenwood 2m ham radio w/ MFJ antenna. Well tuned. Great audio and I regularly hit a repeater 30 miles away on 25 watts. Radio can produce 65 watts.
RAM Mount ball on center dash.
History/Maintenance
Second owner, CLEAN carfax.
All fluids are Amsoil, Mobil 1, or Nissan OEM and are ahead of maintenance schedule. Last oil change was sent to Blackstone labs with great results.
All work has been performed by me, all bolts are torqued properly, antiseize applied where appropriate, etc. Full maintenance log available to interested shoppers.
These vehicles aren't known for any common problems. The one you hear about the most is the SMOD which was fixed in the 09-10 model years so this one is UNAFFECTED. The engine and driveline have been proven across multiple platforms for a lot of years, and they are rock solid.
This needs NOTHING. I would drive it across country tomorrow (and may be willing to do so for the right deal...) with full confidence.
Story
I bought this planning to keep it for a long time, and treated it as such. Since then our family needs a 4x4 with truck bed, and a larger family hauler so we are looking to turn this into a small pickup truck or a 3 row crossover. It was built to be a daily driver and family adventure vehicle and has served that role perfectly. I spent about 1000 miles this summer in Michigan's UP hauling a friend, gear, and canoe around the Great Lakes region and had an absolute blast.
The Xterra platform is well proven and this truck is ready to go. I have taken the very best care of it that I could, and would love to see someone else enjoy it as much as I have.
Price:
$16,000 OBO, or trade for compact quad cab pickup (Frontier, Tacoma, Colorado/Canyon, etc), or 3 row crossover (Highlander, etc). Let's talk...
