Make: Toyota
Year: 2004
Model: Tacoma SR5 Prerunner Ext Cab
Mileage: 129000
Color: Silver
Engine: 3.4l V6, Auto Tranny, 2wd
This is a clean Texas Edition truck that has spent its whole life in the rust free environment of South Texas. I recently moved to Pennsylvania and purchased a new car so this beauty needs to go. It has never seen salted roads and the frame and body is completely rust free. I recently had Toyota do an inspection and it is scheduled for an Anti-Corrision treatment this year. Everything works as it should on the truck, the V6 offers plenty of low end torque and excels at passing at highway speed. The 2004 Tacoma is the last year of what I consider the true small Toyota truck, the 2005 is nearly the size of a F150 and not nearly as attractive as an 2004. I have never personally used this truck to tow or haul but the bed does have some scratches as all trucks do. The only major issue with the truck is the hood latch somehow got bent prior to my ownership and I have no had time to fix it. The interior is clean with minimal damage. This truck was used as my daily driver for over a year and returned 16mpg in city driving and over 22 on the highway. I personally haved changed the oil ever 3500 miles with Valvoline 15W40 and the vehicle has never showed any signs of trouble. Currently the vehicle has some 265/75/16 BFG Rugged Trails which have been great tires but they are to the point of needing to be replaced. The current rims are Enkei aftermarket rims and would be great for your winter set of tires as they are not the pretiest on the street. Due to the poor weather I havent had a chance to pull the truck out of the garage and get good pictures, but if anyone shows real interest I will set up my shop lights and get some pictures in the garage. I have done my research on the value of this vehicle and it ranges from 10900 to upwards of 13000. I encourage you to do your own research at websites such as NADA.com, Kbb, and edmunds. I was originally planning on SASing it and putting a FWC for expo use but decided for long journeys I need something a bit larger because I, well, am big! (260, 6'5) Makes an excelent DD or even a rust free base for a project!
I am using this sale to pay for my project expo vehicle, price is up for debate. I owe 10k but I am willing to take trades and partial cash. Thanks for the views! It is located in NE Penn but willing to deliver to Atlanta Area or Texas!
