This is a sad day, but we really aren't doing that much “wheeling” these days and are thinking of moving to a pickup/Four Wheel Camper combo. Here are the details:
Engine fully rebuilt in November 2010 by Robbie A. (powderpig on ih8mud.com, probably the best and most knowledgeable 1FZ mechanic in the country), about 15k on the engine, 150k on the rest of the chassis –

Engine -
*New OEM +1mm pistons, rings, bearings, all seals, etc.
*Head fully reconditioned with new stem seals, valve job, etc.
*Cometic MLS head gasket and ARP head studs
*All hoses replaced with high-quality silicone where possible
*TRD supercharger w/2.8” pulley, boosts about 8psi max (have the original 3.2” pulley as well)
*Custom built, CAD designed (by me) water/air intercooler system with all-aluminum Meziere 20-gpm circulation pump and thermostatically controlled fan (manual override capable) -> link to build thread
*Ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds, powder coated valve cover
*EMS Powered full manifold-back 2.5” stainless exhaust
*Blue hub fan clutch with 60,000-cst fluid and 3.0 4Runner fan, no cooling issues (also have a new 3FE fan that will come along with it, was just going to try it as an experiment)
*Aluminum PCV catch can to keep gunk out of the intake tract
*Engine runs silky smooth, leaks nothing and has power to spare even when towing

Suspension/drivetrain -
*Slee 4” springs, rear heavy progressive
*Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks (12” travel, custom valved for the weight of the truck)
*Metal Tech caster plates
*MAF extended rear LCA's
*Extended bumpstops and swaybar links, Timbrens on the rear
*Slee stainless brake lines
*Landtank front double cardan driveshaft
*A343 automatic trans. has an IPT modified valve body and is running Redline synthetic ATF, shifts nice and firm
*OEM locking axles swapped in along with all stock wiring/ECU/switch, everything works perfectly
*Birfields repacked at time of engine rebuild and all internal parts checked for wear
*Ironman adjustable rear panhard

Body/other -
*OEM 13-gal aux tank w/overhead console, aux fuel gauge and altimeter (wired with George's ECU)
*Slee Shortbus front bumper
*4x4Labs rear bumper with dual swingouts
*Warn XD9000 winch w/Masterpull synthetic line
*Metal Tech sliders
*315/75-16 Goodyear Duratrac's with about 15k, 5-tire rotation every 3k
*Blue Sea aux. fuse panel mounted under the hood
*PLX digital boost/EGT/wideband AFR gauges
*Depo headlights with H1/H4 bulbs and 3M protective film (have originals as well)
*Slee upgraded headlight harness with relays
*LED interior lighting/auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass and thermometer
*Cover King neoprene seat covers
*Nice Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and iPhone/USB input
*Custom rear flat cargo floor, Linex'ed, with 2x Engel Slide-Lok mounts for fridge/drawers/etc. (fridge and AT drawer not included)
*Speski Offroad cargo barrier
*National Luna Portable Power Pack with Diehard Platinum Group 31 AGM battery mounted in rear cargo area, wired with 100-A circuit breaker in engine compartment
*Roof rack removed and holes welded/repainted
*Interior floor and ceiling covered with 2 layers of sound-dampening material (Second Skin products)
The truck is in fantastic condition overall, looks beautiful when waxed and polished. Pretty much every part of it has been gone through and cleaned/replaced/upgraded as needed. Honestly nothing but fluid changes should be needed for another 200k+ of service. It isn't quite concours perfect, as there is one small dent in the PS rear quarter that's well hidden by the 4x4Labs bumper wing, and a small dent near the rear of the roof from my dumb self climbing up there to free a tree limb caught in the roof rack (you'll never see it unless you are 7' tall). Other than that, there are a few scrapes and scratches on the bumpers and sliders (I do wheel this truck and have taken it on numerous expedition/camping trips) and some wear on the DS front carpet. I have kept the seat covers on the entire time I have owned the truck, and the leather underneath is still in very good shape. I have the third-row seats stored in the garage as well, and they are perfect (look like they were never used). Also will come with several boxes full of spare/extra parts – belts, hoses, filters, gaskets, O2 sensors, ignition pieces, stock suspension parts, etc etc.
Asking price is **off the market for the time being** or possible trade for a nice example of the following:
2005+ Four-Door Tacoma
2005-2006 Access Cab or Four-Door Tundra
