Hi guys,
we bought a FWC, so up for sale is our previous camper setup:
a white, raised-roof camper shell for a 2nd gen Dodge Ram and (if wanted) the plywood sleeping platform.
The shell is in good working order.
The paint is 99% intact (some very small, pinpoint sized bubbles under the driver side window). Rest of the paint is good without dull spots or bubbles.
It has working sliding windows at the sides and on front,
carpet inside (with some holes, but clean, non-smelly and perfectly usable),
working gas struts,
new locks with keys,
4 months old foam tape underneath (still good)
LED strips on the roof inside with Dimmer on 12V
Reflectix covers for all windows (velcroed to the glass).
6 good-quality C-clamps to hold it down
Perfect for sleeping inside - it doesn't get to hot in the sun, with the insulated top, white color, carpet and reflectix.
I also put in our plywood sleeping platform (15/32 plywood and stapled carpet).
Nothing fancy, but took some time to get it fitted to the Dodge bed. If somebody can use it, perfect.
It ends up as a 11 inch high platform to sleep on. We used therm-a-rest mattresses.
2 top doors at the wheels wells, 2 large compartments in the front.
The middle part can be covered with the slatted frame to sleep on (or left empty for larger cargo). 2 large boxes go underneath, I also had a pullout mounted in the middle (not on photos) to put boxes on.
We had 2 fullsize mountainbikes in it together with all our camping stuff.
All sizes are made so that ReallyUseful boxes from Office Depot and standard water canisters (1gal or 2.5gal) fit in.
Also, I put in the small chuckbox that fits to the platform (plastic drawers and space for 2 Coleman bottles). It fits a standard Coleman gas stove on top (which we'd keep for us).
The shell is in the SF Bay Area.
I would ask for 400 altogether.
Obviously, pickup required.

Thanks,
Mike
