I don't think there's a company out there that makes snorkels for any full size Chevy trucks.

If you don't mind DIYing, I've been checking out Airaid's U-Build-It kit (link) as an air filter relocation for a dual battery setup in a truck I'm thinking of buying. You would figure out which parts you need (or buy a master kit and hope it has everything you need) and then get the pre filter from ARB or AEV and have a totally custom setup.

ive been looking for one for a while but now i built my second battery mount where the air intake tube usually runs. Does anyone know if snorkels hurt or improve air flow for your intake?

it depends on the vehicle, I have no way of testing mine, but it did not seem to make a difference in felt power or MPG

There is no way that adding 3-6 feet of tube to your air intake is going to improve air flow. The more length/kinks/bends/protrusions in the intake pipe, the more resistance to flow you are going to have.

it can be done with a little know how/guts to drill a 3.5" hole in your fender. i dont know how it would do with the 6.0l though. there are a couple on 5.3l nbs's and i have one on my obs 5.7l tahoe.

here is the link to the build of "02TahoeMD" who has one.

this is what mine looks like.

Intake size matters

CENTRI ("I have no affiliation other than using their product") which makes pre-cleaners for trucks and heavy equipment has a formula for sizing the intake, my 6.5 turbo (roughly 400 cid) requires five (5") inch inside diameter snorkel.

Normally aspired or turbo "2 stroke and 4 stroke" are three (3) separate and distinct animals when it come to cubic feet of air per minute aka:cfm flow requirements. What works well for NA will more likely than not be a restriction before a turbo compressor when used on any of the 3 aforementioned motors .

Intake side of my diesel for over a decade had a Donaldson canister from factory w/K&N filter option which was an improvement over the stock filter, recently S&B Filters ("I have no affiliation other than using their product") has released a filter box and filter that is a 44+% improvement in the flow department. This intake has the ability to adapt to a snorkel very well and I'm in the process of developing same for my use.
