Fuse panel in a JK

Has anyone put an additional fuse box /panel under the hood of a JK? I am needing one and would like to see what others may have done.

:sombrero: Nope thats "the sPOD" 6, 30 amp relays and terminal boards for accessoriy and 6-sw overhead panel hook up

It's all aircraft conn/sw's/cable is 9' long for remote hook-up and comes with preprinted ckt designation for the switch's

Pretty neat, but it's not a fuse panel--costs a lot more than that

Thanks but like JIMBO said not exactly what I am looking to see. I just want something simple but will easily fit under the hood and close to the battery.
Thanks to you both..

Here are some options I can think of:

Option#1: Use one of the under the hood compressor brackets and mount of the fuse panel ontop of it.

Under hood compressor bracket

Option#2: Mount the new fuse box on top of the factory fuse panel which sits in front of the battery. I think there is enough clearance with the hood closed, but that would need to be checked.

Option#3: In the passenger front wheel well, if you take off the inner fender lining, there is enough space on the firewall to put a fuse block. This would put it pretty close to under the battery.

What accessories are you looking to wire? If they are in the cab, there is room to mount the fuse box behind the dash roughly over the gas pedal. I remember seeing some pics of this setup on the expo and it looked really clean.

Well fuse box is often used as a generic term for some sort of power distribution which is exactly what an sPod is. So it was a fair shot at it. :)

Thanks guys, I guess I will be ordering and installing as soon as possible. The hard part is going to be finding a place to put whatever it is called. I might see about inside the Jeep, maybe in the rear.
Thanks again to all.

Here's a few of an aux electrical job I did a little while ago. Bussmann waterproof fuse + relay block w/ all automotive grade Delphi connectors, etc.

Mounted on the hold-down bar for my dual battery system w/ some brackets I fabbed out of aluminum:

Five relays, ten fuses, completely waterproof:
