i had this guy inspected by a fuso dealer in NY but had to back out for one reason.
the seller has the original title and it did come from a government organization in virginia. but no paperwork to say it’s exempt from emissions regulations.
gov drove it for 6k and let it sit. grease points need some love. minimal surface rust and a bomber flat bed. It’s 90% ready to overland except for one thing.
the government organization in there infinite wisdom gutted the emissions system. it’s painfully obvious major components are removed. def tank gone, dpfe gone. they reflashed ecm but did it incorrectly so check engine light is on. vehicle runs as it should just throws codes.
there is a guy in canada that does a delete software for 3k canadian plus tariffs. i can get you info if needed. his system is the best because it works with all components in place.
when you need to get inspected with obd2 you reflash it to stock. once you leave you flash to delete and it shuts off all emissions systems, and it boosts power.
where i’m at they look at emissions components. it’s to expensive for me to get it going for me. i just don’t have the resources.
