I have a 1992 Mitsubishi Fuso FG wannabe expedition project truck for sale. As you can see it has a burned cab, but I have located and purchased a really nice replacement cab with powered windows/locks with a clean interior, ready for installation. I have not started on the camper yet, so it's just what you see in the photos.
The truck was in service running perfectly when the load of cut grass clippings in the bed started a spontaneous combustion fire.
It burned only from the bed up, but spread to the cab. Motor and drive train were not harmed at all, not even any distortion on the plastic parts. It has 107K miles on it, never did heavy work, just transporting cut grass clippings for a lawn service company, and has a PTO.
I bought it for an entry level expedition vehicle project, but I have now moved out of state, life has changed for me, and this project has to go.
My loss may be your gain...
The truck was an East Coast rig and subsequently there is some rust on the frame, but not yet to the serious cancer stage, you can deal with it.
The truck has a clean title in my name, and is located in Escondido California, just north of San Diego. I am asking $6000.00 or best offer-- unfortunately the new/used cab and transportation to the West Coast cost almost that much. I will part it out--if the deals make sense.
