It's a decent GPS. I've been using one for several months now. The mount doesn't hold too secure under severe offroading. The widescreen is bright and it works well in bright sunlight.
You can upload Garmin Topo onto a 1gb card, however, I still can't get terrain contour lines to show. I can see dirt roads and some trails and water features.
Being able to navigate in 3d is a plus, too.
I also like being able to route to Fuel, Hospitals, and Police without having to pre-install those waypoints. It also has other POIs (points of interest) such as food, parking, etc. You can also upload others based on your area.
I haven't used the MP3 player or Audiobooks yet.
It is thin enough to remove from your vehicle and place in a coat pocket or Pelican case and toss in a pack.
There is a PIN feature to discourage theft, but I'm sure a thief would steal it anyways.
I still carry my Garmin GPSMap 60CS in a ram mount in the Jeep just in case.
