Hey now! That is actually our old 4" SPORT system (RS6507) since then we have upgraded this system to our new 4" SPORT system (RS66102B BLACK only).
Our updated system has even more compnents than before.

Most everything that is done in that article is a simple weekend install as well.

I like it better when people write about actually traveling vs building.
I am pretty sure the Wescotts are going on another grand adventure soon and that will be what I look forward to reading about.

Many folks build rigs, fewer ever actually do anything with those vehicles.

Security wires for the oil pan? I'd love to hear the story behind that little life lesson...

I like when they do both, build it and use it!

It is actually held in place by, gasp :), adhesive. The wire would, if needed, keep it there until removed.
If it can handle 2 King of the Hammers, I think that would be pretty much trail tested to me.

the tape they use is 3M VHB it an aricraft grade adhesive. It's also used to hold the aluminum panels on the side of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur Tower. Its really strong stuff and gets stronger the older it is. This is not the same cheep VHB you get at the auto parts.
