To start out I have a 2014 JKU and a 2000 Ford F350. I have used the F350 stock jack for years to change tires and do maintenance under the truck. This is a gear drive jack so it is pretty safe to work around. Recently I was at Pick n Pull and found two more jacks in the truck section and a couple of the rods and tire irons for raising and lowering the jacks. I think for two jacks and two sets of raising hardware the total cost was $45. I planned on using one of the jacks in the jeep since the stock jeep jack was kind of a POS. Well the other day I noticed that the stock jeep hardware for raising and lowering the stock jeep jack that stores in the little pocket near the tail gate are basically the same bars as the F350 except shorter and a different engagement piece. So, I took one of the Ford engagement bars and cut it down, welded it and had it repowder coated. Fits in the stock location with the rest of the stock tire iron parts now. The jack does not fit but that is not a bid deal for me.
