Been trying to find proper trans gasket for 1985 montero 3 speed auto trans . All after market filter kits have a gasket the same shape but slightly longer. I have adapted ones in the past by cutting and filling the gap with silicone gasket maker which always do leak. The cork ones or OEM ones work best for my other vehicles. I would prefer OEM and I did order a gasket alone from my local Fresno dealer and they returned with the gasket for a 4 speed autotrans at 38 dollars . Will not work with them thieves! NAPA has two kits but both are to long. Does anyone have the proper OEM part number or a after market source or Mitsu source. i have three Gen 1s 85 2.6 Auto , 89 V6 manual SWB and a 91 V6 auto LWB. Two many other vehicles as well. Need the 85 as a dailey driver, been in the family since 85. Another Steve.
