Gen 2.5 4WD dash lights do not come on at all

Hi all, I have searched for this everywhere but could not find a solution yet. The 4 wheel (green lights) or the CD lock (orange light) do not come on at all. I have checked the bulbs and they are good. Have also checked the fuse under the driver side dash. I've also put in a new 4x4 relay that sits behind the radio. I'm clueless what could be causing this. Any idea or leads?

Also the the ring around the ignition key is always on, never turns off.

Note: These problems started after I had to take the dash out to change the heater core.

The two rear wheel indicators should always be on when the ignition is on. It sounds like you may have a connector issue. I would suggest pulling the dash again and check the connections.
