Gen 2.5 and 35's?

I have a Gen 2.5 that is currently on 33's. I do a lot of wheeling living in CO, and we are going to do a big trip to MOAB next year. By a lot of wheeling I mean every weekend for much of the weekend.

So that being said, how are 35's on this truck? I was going to move to 4.90 axles from a Sport in the process, and I have a 2" body lift already. I can weld and do fab work as needed as well.

They fit fine, and yes do the gears if you can find them.

33s is your limit for serious off-road use unless you put 4.90s or T/C gears.

I'm going to 4.90's with the 35's.

You'll want T-case gears if you're going to get into some more difficult wheeling, you can get 2.72's from australia ($1400+)or use any of the 23 spline 6 bolt Jeep cases way cheaper and more ratios available. There are write ups on the 4x4 wire to do the swap. I'm going to a 2.72:1 underdrive and a 4.1:1 T-case for a total of 4 speeds 1:1, 2.72:1, 4.1:1 and 11.15:1

Otherwise 35's will fit fine with 3.5 or 3" BS wheels depending on the width of tire you go with 35x12.5 or 35x13.5 ect.
