GEN 2.5 EGR tube nut size.

The wire harness on my 98 GenII Monty somehow came to rest on the EGR tube burning the harness and burning a hole in the EGR tube.

Any of you happen to know the size of the lower nut on the tube? I tried getting an adjustable wrench on it to figure out the size but there just isn't enough room. I am going to attempt and use a crows foot wrench but need to know the size.

Thanks.

I never found the size of the bolt i just used a liberal amount of PB blaster removed the battery and tray for room and got some channel locks and gripped those puppies as tight as possible yelled some swear words then mustered strength from the gods and broke it loose

26mm about 1/32 over one inch. I used a mini adjustable wrench. It just happened to work but I have a desert vehicle. Luck to those in the rust belt

Turns out the nut is a 27mm. I bought a cheap Husky box wrench and cut it open enough to fit the tube. Removing the two upper bolts first takes the tension off the nut. I did have to remove the battery box.
