Gen 2.5 Montero wheel sizes and fitment?

What are the dimensions (hub, offset, etc..) that I should be looking for to go from a 15" wheel to a 16" wheel? What OEM brands fit? I have heard that Toyota Tacoma wheels will fit, but this is unsubstantiated. Can anyone confirm this?

I am having difficulty finding 33"x10.5x15R tires, and don't want to rupture one on the trail in a remote area and not be able to replace it. The range of tires available for 16" wheels is exponentially increased, and thus the likelyhood of getting a replacement when I really need one.

Needs to have a 6x5.5" hub bolt pattern and a 108mm center bore or it won't go around your hub.

Some Toyota rim center bores are 106mm or even smaller.

As far as the wheel offset, it really depends on the size wheel and amount of lift you have in your suspension / body.

I run 16x8 Raceline Renegade wheels with 0' offset. They were originally on a half ton chevy pickup.

Forgot to mention, my center bore is perfectly snug against the hub so Im not able to run the center-caps that came with the wheels. There is only couple of mm difference in order to fit them in. But heck, who needs them anyways.

This is a nice list of what trucks come with stock... from what I've seen Toyota Sequoia wheels are 108mm center bore, all the Tacoma ones are 106mm.
